Disney’s The Jungle Book is inspired by the stories about the feral child Mowgli from the book of the same name by Rudyard Kipling. The show contains a number of classic songs, including The Bare Necessities and I Wan'na Be Like You. Other parts include Baloo the bear, Bagheera the black panther and King Louie the ape.

The play also provides ample opportunity for costuming as the production includes the animals mentioned as well as tigers, elephants, vultures, baboons, wolves and pythons. Help is needed backstage for such jobs as building sets, costumes or running the lights.
