"Visually exciting, educational, thought-provoking..." The ArtMobile is a travelling museum-on-wheels organized from the Arkansas Arts Center's collections (Little Rock) that takes original art to elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Arkansas and surrounding areas. It is brought to the southeast Arkansas region by The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas and the Ben J. Altheimer Charitable Foundation.

The Artmobile features a tour guide who involves students in learning through and about visual art. The art educator will also provide an illustrated guide to the exhibit.

A study guide is available on the Arkansas Art Center's website www.arkarts.com (under "State Programs") to further enrich your class' experience. Currently, the Artmobile is exhibiting "Natural Insights: Art and the Earth", an exploration of the many ways artists take inspiration from nature.
