Tunics, masks, thrones, dramatic art, items of bronze, copper, iron and other metals from Neolithic times to now.

From the collection of African art and artifacts of collectors Dana and Laurie Mitchell of Memphis who has spent years amassing beautiful, dramatic and fascinating art and items from northern Africa.

The exhibit will also include a printed catalog and teacher lesson plans available on this website and some printed copies.

The exhibit is made possible in part from grants and in-kind donations from Simmons First National Bank, Entergy, Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel, Arkansas Arts Council, Arkansas Humanities Council and the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff.

Exhibit open through April 24, 2010.
