Theatre Camp
Time: 1-4 pm Monday-Friday first full week of June each year!
For Ages: 8-18
Cost: $120/members or $155/non-members
Kick back with professional actors from the Arkansas Arts Children’s Theatre in Little Rock and learn the fundamentals of the theatre biz.
Theatre Camp is a two-week day camp for kids ages 8-18, June 1-12, who love to act or want to learn more about the performing arts. Students will learn a lot more than just acting. For instance, students will learn about all of the components that go into creating a show. Stage makeup, theatre equipment, stage movement, scripts, and costuming will all be covered during the camp.
An end-of-session performance will be open to family and friends.
Cost of the camp is $120/members and $150/non-members.

Youth Musical: Disney's Aladdin in Spring 2010
The Center presents a youth theater production yearly during each performing arts season. This year's production is "Disney's Aladdin" set for spring 2010.
School groups will be able to schedule a time to watch the play.
Tell-A-Tale Troupe
Several times a year the Center hosts performances of the Tell-A-Tale Troupe from the Arkansas Arts Center. Each play has two daytime showings for school groups.
The Tell-A-Tale Troupe is a group of professional actors who travel to elementary schools throughout Arkansas performing theatrical versions of favorite stories for children that teachers can connect to their regular curriculum.
Tell-A-Tale is a program of the Arkansas Arts Center of Little Rock. Each year, the Ben J. Altheimer Charitable Foundation provides Tell-A-Tale Troupe performances to schools in Southeast Arkansas. If scheduled through the Arts & Science Center Education Department, Tell-A-Tale Troup is free of charge. For more information, please call 870-536-3375.
