Teachers, call us to bring

our Outreach Program to your schools!

The Arts & Science Center’s new Educational Outreach program to schools in southeast Arkansas is off to a good start, according to education coordinator Michelle Grice.

As part of the program, Center staff dress up as science figures such as Mrs. Galileo and visit schools with hands-on activities. Students also learn about the scientific process and get to participate in hands-on experiments such as making perfumes, straw rockets, music machines and graphs.

The program, geared toward 4-5 grades, is funded by a grant from the King Foundation of Dallas.
